Biomedical Science FdSc

This exciting and innovative programme brings together academic and workplace learning and experiences. It is designed for technical staff in hospital, commercial or research laboratories in fields such as haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, transfusion and histopathology.

The course is ideal if you want to develop your career and gain a better understanding of the scientific theory underpinning your workplace activities. The programme is delivered by a combination of flexible distance-learning and work-based learning with a small amount of face-to-face teaching.

The distance learning is web-based e-learning, which means you can integrate study with the demands of your work and home life.
