Student mentoring
St George's have a tradition of mentoring incoming students. Known informally as "mums and dads", new students are adopted by more established ones and offered a helping hand to settle in. Those students in the "parent" role can offer informal support and advice on anything and everything a new student might encounter. This can include study hints but could also a heads up on upcoming social events.
There are special "mums and dads" events during the first few days for new students. You can contact the Student Centre for more information.
