Information services provides the following facilities to staff and students:
- A reliable high-speed networking infrastructure
- A computer account allocated for students upon enrollment
- A St George's email account, online calendar and access to the St George's intranet
- Internet access
- Open access computing facilities with over 100 networked PCs, plus printing and scanning facilities
- Access to numerous databases and electronic journals
- A help desk available 9am-5pm
- A home directory located on one of our servers backs up and virus checks your work on a nightly basis
- Training courses in IT and information retrieval skills.
