Careers
The Careers Service is here to support current students, recent graduates and members of staff to develop the skills that they need to find and maintain satisfying careers throughout their working lives.
The Careers Service at St George's is a member of C2 Education which is part of The Careers Group, University of London.
Katie Dallison is a careers adviser from the University of London who visits St George's every Thursday. Her role is to offer individual careers advice and guidance to students and members of staff, as well as to run careers workshops and information sessions.
What can the careers adviser help with?
- Starting to think about options and signposting to useful resources
- Weighing up decisions
- Advice and guidance on job hunting, CVs and applications
- Practice interviews
A careers adviser cannot tell you want to do, or provide all the answers; their role is to help you to clarify your thinking and sharpen your ability to manage your own career.

Katie is available every Thursday from 10am-4pm and is located in the Student Centre, ground floor of the main St George’s building (Hunter Wing).
