National Student Finance Day

A day dedicated to helping future students find out more about 2012 university fees and funding

National Student Finance Day

For undergraduate UK and EU students starting in 2012, student tuition fee levels and financial support will change significantly. This has prompted a lot of discussion and confusion about the cost of university.

National Student Finance Day, which was held on Monday 14 November, aimed to tackle some of the myths about the changes to university fees and help you find out more about the true cost of university for future students.

Student Finance Day has been organised by the Independent Taskforce on Student Finance Information which was set up to help students, parents and teachers understand the cost of a university education. It is led by Martin Lewis of MoneySavingExpert.com and in this video, Martin Lewis explains the changes.

This animated video also explains how the fee repayment system works so you can understand how the student loan is repaid and how it will affect you once you graduate.
