We have five PC suites housing approximately 200 workstations. One of these has 24-hour access. Four can be used to accommodate open-access or formal group teaching sessions.
In every room in our halls of residence there is internet and an access point that connects to our academic network. There is also wireless network access in all common areas. Elsewhere on campus there are numerous wireless hotspots.
Network software applications on campus include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SPSS, and internet and email access are readily available.
If you need it, support from the IT department is to hand, and we can also train you to use the email system and other IT services. The library runs excellent training courses too. You will also have access to our virtual learning environment, Moodle, where you will find useful documentation, feedback and discussion boards.
