Molecular Cell Biology
Research interests are centred on the mechanisms regulating basic biological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation and senescence, as well as cellular responses to viral infection and DNA damage, especially cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Particular strengths are in senescence and melanocyte biology, DNA enzymology, and viral evasion of innate immunity.
