Advanced Practice PgCert/PgDip/MSc

We have developed this programme in response to new roles and ways of working in practice. It is ideal for any experienced healthcare practitioner who wishes to develop and advance their level of knowledge and skills within their own field.

The course is an interprofessional MSc programme offering the opportunity to work towards professional competencies.

  • Advanced Practice - Psychosocial Interventions
  • Advanced Practice - Prescribing
  • Advanced Practice - Cancer

Due to the programme's flexibility, an education and practice mentor as well as a research supervisor will provide individual support. The course director will oversee all aspects of student support.

You can claim 90 credits of relevant Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) towards the MSc, including up to 45 credits at Level 6. There is also an allowance within the course of 45 credits at Level 6, if you have not already fully used your APL allowance.

Duration: Part-time over a maximum period of five years

Attendance: One day a week

Assessment:  Assessment methods will vary but may include oral presentations, reports, portfolio development and a dissertation.
