Course structure

You will learn to generate a variety of research questions, select appropriate methodologies and carry out an in-depth research study in your chosen field of clinical practice.

With the help of a supervisor you will learn to use appropriate statistical techniques to analyse data generated by clinical research and will be able to critically evaluate the design methods, analysis and conclusions.

You will practise communicating the results of research both in oral presentations and in writing to a range of practitioner, service user and academic audiences.

By the end of the course you will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a specific area of applied clinical research relevant to your own area of professional clinical practice.
