Professional Child and Family Studies PgDip/MA

This course is designed for experienced professionals and social workers in the childcare field who have already completed specialist level or have substantial experience and want to develop professionally.

This course will help you develop the professional practice skills needed to work with children and young people, their families and their carers. These include teamwork and interprofessional practice, supporting and managing others, and leadership skills. The course also puts a strong emphasis on developing your critical appraisal of research evidence and exploring ethical frameworks. Leadership and Management options are also available.

This masters programme is awarded by Kingston University and is delivered in partnership with St George’s, University of London, by the Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences.
