St George's has been named the best university in the country for graduate employability in The Complete University Guide league tables for 2017.
The rankings showed that graduate prospects for employment were at 93.4% for St George's students.
St George's is also in the Top 50 for The Complete University Guide league tables for 2017.
It has been ranked 44th in the league table, which is down by one from last year.
St George's rose in the rankings for a number of its subjects, including in Medicine where it climbed a place to 32, Biological Sciences where it rose from 42 last year to a ranking of 34 this year. Meanwhile Anatomy and Physiology is up four places to 15, out of 37 other universities.
In the joint faculty for St George's and Kingston, Physiotherapy is up five places to 19, Nursing has climbed up eight places to 54 out of 71 institutes, and Medical Technology has dropped by three places to 26.
Dr Bernard Kingston, principal author of The Complete University Guide, said: "There is a considerable degree of stability at the upper end of the league table this year. While dramatic changes may be newsworthy, this stability indicates that the rankings are robust and credible for young people seeking a university place – our primary purpose."
