If you are unsure whether you would be considered a 'home' or 'overseas' student for fee purposes, please see the document below.

Guide to fee classifications (PDF)

If you apply to St George's, you will be required to complete a form to enable us to assess your fee status.

How and when do I pay my tuition fees?

Tuition fees are usually paid per term, but if the full international student fee is paid for the year at enrolment, a two per cent discount will be given. Alternatively, you can choose to pay in three instalments (50 per cent in October, 25 per cent in January and 25 per cent in May). You will not be charged interest if you decide to pay in instalments.

On confirmation of an offer on a course at St George's you are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 (if you have an Official Financial Sponsor we do not require a deposit but will need confirmation of their sponsorship).

Payment of the deposit will hold open your offer of a place at the University subject to the fulfilment of the conditions of your offer, at which point a place to study on your chosen programme will be allocated.

Once your deposit and all other required documents have been received, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) Number for visa purposes.
