International students - how to apply

We welcome applicants from all over the world and currently have students from nearly 90 countries attending St George's.

You should consult the undergraduate and postgraduate course's individual entry requirements as qualifications vary between course or programme.

Please check our English language requirements. A good level of English language is needed to study at St George's.

If you are from within the EU/EEA, you can apply for any of our undergraduate courses. 

Unfortunately not all of our courses can currently accept non-EU/EEA students, but we welcome applications from international students for the following courses:

The Social Work degree is awarded is awarded by Kingston University and is delivered in partnership with St George’s, University of London, by the Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences. For this degree, you will need to apply to Kingston University

If your qualification is not listed, you will need to contact UKNARIC, an organisation that compares international qualifcations with the UK equivalent and can provide a certificate of comparability. Please note that NARIC can only provide a certificate for completed qualifications.

St George’s offers a wide range of Medical Elective placements in a number of different clinical specialties. Please be aware these electives are of limited numbers and fill up quickly. If you are interested in applying for a placement at St George’s, please see our elective pages.
