"As the course director for Diagnostic Radiography I am very proud of the graduates we produce and I am firmly of the opinion that our graduates are among the best in the country.
"Diagnostic radiography is a profession that integrates physical and biological science with caring and interpersonal skills, within a healthcare context. From a practical point of view, the medical imaging modalities you will study range from the familiar 'X-ray' to more complex 'scanning' techniques. Medical imaging is constantly developing and it is important that you be prepared for current practice and equiped with the skills required to adapt to future developments.

Key to the preparation for future employment is the strong practical element of the course, which takes place within our partner clinical departments. This is where students will see theory and practice integrated and reinforced in a safe and meaningful environment. This culminates in an extended period of clinical practice, during which you will develop confidence and competence.
