UCAS deadlines

How to apply

Deadlines set by UCAS are below.

  • 15 October of year prior to entry: deadline for applications to Medicine (A100, A101, A103)
  • 15 January of year of entry: deadline for applications to all other courses

We would recommend that you submit your application as early as possible and it is important that you meet these deadline for submission.

Prospective undergraduate candidates should apply online through the UCAS Apply System. Please take particular note of the course code and the institution code when submitting an application. These can be found on each individual course webpage.

Some courses have a St George’s, University of London, institution code (eg SGEO S49) and some courses have a Kingston University institution code (eg KING K84) so please make sure that you enter the correct code on your UCAS form.

If your contact details or address change after you have submitted your application, please inform UCAS, and then St George’s directly as soon as possible.

email: admissions@sgul.ac.uk

When sending correspondence, the system will automatically use addresses recorded by UCAS.

We do not have an upper age limit for any of our programmes. We do, however, advise applicants for medicine who are over the age of 35 to seriously consider the implications of starting a demanding career at this age. You should note that it takes a minimum of nine to 10 years to complete training in some medical specialities, and some specialities may be reluctant to allow a candidate who is very much older than is usual to begin that training.
