Module information

The minimum period of study for the part-time route is 24 months; maximum period of study is 60 months.

The minimum period of study for the full time route is 12 months; maximum period of study is 36 months.

This may be extended in exceptional circumstances.

Exit routes

(Points at which a student can ‘step off' the full MSc in Rehabilitation and still gain an academic title).

Candidates for the award of MSc in Rehabilitation must obtain a pass in the following modules:

  • Policy and Practice in Rehabilitation
  • Critical Practice in Rehabilitation
  • Evaluation of Reflection in Rehabilitation
  • Research Methods
  • Research Project Planning and Management
  • and a pass in one option module (or AP(E)L equivalent)
  • and pass the Dissertation.

Within the maximum registration period specified.

Candidates can gain an award of Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation but must obtain a pass mark in the following modules:

  • Policy and Practice in Rehabilitation
  • Critical Practice in Rehabilitation
  • Evaluation of Reflection in Rehabilitation

and a pass mark in two option modules (or AP(E)L equivalent) within the maximum registration period specified.

Candidates can obtain the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation but must obtain a pass mark in the following modules:

  • Policy and Practice in Rehabilitation
  • Evaluation in Reflection in Rehabilitation
