Attendance: Normally five days per module
Assessment: Case studies; research protocols; dissertation; essays; portfolios; practical assessment; OSCE; reflective log book

Course outline
Are you working in the field of mammography or breast evaluation? Then you will know how crucial it is for you to be aware of the latest skills, methods and research in your area. That’s why you need a course that:

The School of Radiography in the joint Faculty at St George’s, University of London and Kingston University offers you a supportive learning experience.
Opportunities for development will be enhanced through our partnerships with the Duchess of Kent Breast Screening Unit and the Jarvis Breast Screening Training Centre.
Modules include:
- Advanced principles and practice of breast assessment techniques
- Breast cancer treatment, management and care
- Ultrasound of the breast
- Clinical breast examination and client communication
- Family history and genetics of breast cancer
- Management of people in the workplace
- Professional practice in mammography
Modules can be taken as part of a complete postgraduate programme or studied individually.
