Our researchers in the medical sciences are encouraged to contribute their scientific knowledge to society through collaborations with other research institutions.
Working with researchers at St George's
Our researchers often collaborate with other universities and organisations. Many of them have successfully been awarded numerous research grants.
The results of these research collaborations have positively impacted the medical world and public health worldwide.
Why collaborate with a researcher from St George's?
At St George’s we have a Joint Research and Enterprise Office which administers and supports all research activities across both the university and the NHS Trust.
We have three research institutes at St George's:
- The Institute of Cardiovascular and Cell Sciences
- The Institute of Infection and Immunity
- The Population Health Research Institute
Our close integration with our adjoining hospital, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, provides a number of benefits to a research collaboration. It ensures that our research is rooted in the realities of clinical practice and that it addresses clinical priorities.
