A teaching film on dealing with common obstetric difficulties

This film is for practical training in the management of :

  • Cord prolapse
  • Postpartum haemorrhage
  • Shoulder dystocia
  • Delivery of a breech baby

Each obstetric technique is demonstrated with the use of obstetric mannequins and computer graphics, and practical, detailed advice given on positioning the patient, investigations, and pre- and post-operative preparation.

The film is particularly aimed at a postgraduate level.
