Responsible for developing and managing the process for finalising St George’s submission to Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008.Contributes to St George’s strategic RAE decision-making. Responsible for providing information and guidance to academic staff on all RAE-related matters. Manages St George’s submission to the HEFCE Research Activity Survey. Responsible for generating information on research activities.

Responsible for the management of equality and diversity issues at the institution, specifically issues concerning sex, race and disability discrimination, sexual orientation, religious belief and age discrimination.  Working with the Equality and diversity Committee to address issues such as bullying and harassment, equality and diversity staff training, and to carry out ane report on equality impact assessments on institutional policies and procedures.  Organising and management working parties on specific issues as required.  Offering tailored advice to individual staff and students.
