Who are we?

The ICDP is a small team of experts with backgrounds in health and social care, research and development, and education and training.

The Centre has an established National Advisory Board which is chaired by Baroness Cumberlege and its members consist of senior advisors from a variety of health and social care backgrounds, both within the NHS and voluntary charity sector, international prison health service, law, members of Parliament, the Department of Health, Home Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The Centre also has a network of a Consortium of Experts and affiliates, which it can call upon to work in partnership on activities and programmes. This network includes the European Collaborating Centres on Addiction Studies (ECCAS).
