Faculties and Divisions

Teaching and research at St George's is conducted within two faculties - the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences.

The Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences houses six divisions: Basic Medical Sciences; Community Health Sciences; Mental Health; Cellular & Molecular Medicine; Clinical Development Studies; Cardiovascular Sciences. In addition, the Centre for Medical & Healthcare Education lies within the Faculty.

The Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences is a partnership between Kingston University and St George’s, University of London, which provides qualifications in nursing, midwifery, radiography, physiotherapy, social work, paramedic sciences, biomedical sciences and continuing professional development.
